in me there was —Cristine Gostinski Costa

ARTIST STATEMENT:

My subject matter is humans in dream-like moments. I build my art digitally, the different imitations of paint and brushes, to capture the movement of thought and its stillness. It often shows the overflowing perpetual desires in the most noble immensity that enters my dreams—secret thoughts sucked by the ocean of intransigent emotions reflected in the face of those who someday touched my soul. However there will be the crossing of thoughts reflected in the shining mirror that are the eyes that one day will cross the timeline called my life, that makes my heart race with every thought crossed within my core. The life line that connects and disconnects individuals when they cross the eye, the thought, the emotions, and they allow their end—is the purest calm. Everything has been disconnected. To sprout a beginning from the end."
